Butt welding circuit
Butt welding circuit is a process of resistance welding, in which a permanent connection between the objects tightening closely is obtained on the entire contact surface, because the area is heated resistance by electricity flowing, plastically deformed after reaching a suitable sealing temperature. The weld area is heated to a plastic deformation or to temperatures above the melting point. The contact surfaces of heated objects must be cleaned and adhere to each other.
BUTT WELDING CIRCUIT PARAMETERS:
- current
- strength of pressure
- clamping length
- allowance for upsetting
- welding current flow time
Butt welding circuit is used for connecting rods, wires, profiles, tubes, rims, chains of cells. This method can be welded carbon steel, low and high grade, resistance alloys, nickel, copper and aluminum alloys.
